Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) involves the intake of 100% oxygen inside a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, in which the atmospheric pressure is raised and controlled. The therapy boosts the natural healing process of the body.
Under normal conditions, only the red blood cells transport oxygen throughout the body. When HBOT is administered inside a hyperbaric chamber, oxygen gets dissolved in all fluids of the body, fluids of the central nervous system, plasma, the bone and the lymph.
